Tracking & Trailing Course (Graveley)
From beginners onwards, this fun course teaches you and the dog to search using the dog's ability to follow scent left on the ground. This same technique is used in police dogs and working trials.
fun and easy to do, no specialised equipment is required to get you started just warm clothes and a toy / treat bag that the
dog is interested in.

Intro to Gundog Course (Graveley)
Whistle training, Distance control & retrieving are just some of the aspects of gundog training you will learn on this fun, relaxed course.
Open to ALL breeds and abilities with no specialised equipment required ... free whistle supplied on the course ... you just need some old thick socks (for the dog, not you - all will be explained), a lead, a long line and some treats.

Intro to Cani X (Graveley)
A brand new sport for Barking Mad Dts, our very own fitness freak, Dave, will be taking owners and their dogs through their paces ... teaching the dog's to work out in front, turning left and right and at the same time building up the owners fitness. This is set to be a great, fun course and knowing Dave, probably finishing off by going to the pub ! lead, long line,
treats and probably a respirator required.
Open to all abilities (owner & dog) but i'm afraid dog's must be around *one year old and sociable. (*Please ask for more details)

Agility Intro Courses (Buntingford)
These courses are especially designed to be low / no impact to the puppies, with the emphasis on fun, confidence building and control.
Open to everybody so don't miss out on the fun !

Details of what's included can be found on the 'Instructors Courses' page but suffice to say, it'f anyone who is interested in learning more about dogs, training principles and behavioural theory these courses are for you ... irrespective of what standard you have achieved with your dog or how long you have been training for.
The Initial and Intermediate courses can be taken in any order but one or both must be taken prior to the advanced and advanced plus courses.

Trials Course (Graveley)
a great intoduction to this ever popular dog sport ... it's like the decathlon for dog's and involves everything from agility, tracking and searches upto sendaways, stays and heelwork. great fun and a really accessible way of finding out if it's for you ... open to all breeds but age may initially limit some of the exercises although puppies are very welcome

Improvers Working Trials Course (Graveley)
An opportunity to really push on with your standard in the sport of working trials ... only limited spaces and geared around those who are working towards or are already competing in working trials.
Two sessions will focus on the control and agility aspects and the other two, towards tracking and nosework.
Tracking harness, Dumbell and a selection of articles are required for the course but can be supplied.

Intro to Rally O (Graveley)
Another brand new sport for Barking Mad Dts, the new craze that is sweeping across from america ... it involves teaching the dog's to do a combination of tricks, heelwork and agility as you move from marker to marker. a really accessible sport for anyone who likes working on the control stuff
... give it a go, i think you'll love it and improve your dog's control in a fun way for both of you without realising it.
Only treats required.

Night Tracking Course (Graveley)
Great fun for this time of the year ... open to all abilities and the dogs love it !
seeing your dog track is just amazing and even more so at night when you have to really rely on him.
You will learn the basics and even by the end of the first night, your dog will be able to team track - don't miss the fun!
